Abigail Leaventon received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jewelry at Savannah College of Art and Design. She has a passion for bringing her original jewelry designs to life using a variety of techniques such as hand fabrication and lost wax casting from hand carvings and Rhinoceros 3D and Zbrush models. She enjoys the processes of metalworking because of the patience, planning, and appreciation that the materials required. Leaventon’s jewelry designs are inspired by nature and travel and how she relates them to her own inner experiences. Her work comes together as a juxtaposition of organic hand-made forms and CAD-modeled uniform components.
