Abigail Leaventon earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jewelry at Savannah College of Art and Design. She has a passion for bringing her original jewelry designs to life using various techniques such as hand fabrication and lost wax casting from hand carvings, Rhinoceros 3D, and Zbrush models. She enjoys metalworking processes because of the patience, planning, and appreciation that the materials require. Leaventon’s jewelry designs are inspired by nature and travel and how she relates them to her own inner experiences. Her work comes together as a juxtaposition of organic hand-made forms and CAD-modeled uniform components.
